It's no spring chicken... but all the gaskets and timing belt pulleys are brand new. Those ones on the accessory belt look like shit though.

WOW! That was an eventful night.

Due to a windstorm in the area, the power went out at our daughter-son in law's house.

So, at about 11PM they all converged at our house for the night. Well, of course, the granddaughters viewed this as an "adventure" and didn't settle down till the wee hours of the morning.

THEN, due to the widespread power outages, school was called off, so NOW, they are sleeping.

Back in the day, it would have been "a bloody Mary morning"-

Not limited to winter time, but often time when I try to turn on the light, damn switch shock me. For my house, I've change the switch to those bigger switches. (on the basement, but haven't done all of em)

Anyone else have those problem?

I mean it happens sometimes, could be the switch in the wall isn't grounded, the switch itself is cheap construction, or your magnetic personality just draws electricity right out of the path of least resistance... but yes it's happened to me before. Sometimes if you (do not recommend) hold the switch like halfway between up and down or jiggle it a bit it will snap crackle and pop...
