Prius tried to overtake me and sharp cut back in lane to do his right turn. Horn was used, overtake denied, did not crash.

Drove the car for the first time this year. On my way to work this morning with hardly anyone on the road, turn onto Bascom Ave, powering out a bit, having a little fun and BAM, nannies kicked in. I was hardly doing anything? Practically brought me to a stop. Total buzz kill.

Did not crash.

You on summer tires? It was cold last night/this morning, might have had reduced grip. Coldest morning of the season so far where I am at least, not too far from you looks like.

I drove my car to work this morning... Did not crash.

My wheel bearing is going out on my truck; probably because the hub is bent...

Anyway, it was acting up on my home from work last night, so I pulled the FR-S out today.

It's nice to have an extra car.

I had to lower the pressure of rear tires to get some traction on bumpy ice to get out of my parking.

The Michelin Xi3 seem to love ~30 psi cold, it cured the on throttle fishtail in the slush / ice. I think I'm going to keep them that way for a while see how everything holds up.

Any winter drivers want to chime in?

So cold. So so cold.
Car would not start. Boosted with a battery pack.
Belts hard as steel. Squealed like a stuck pig for about 3 minutes.
Coffee drive through poorly plowed. Nice wheel ruts with a solid ice build up of about 4' between them. Car has 3 1/2" clearance. Horrible noise.
Big chunk breaks off at end. Get's dragged under car for two blocks. Finally grinds down enough to bounce whole length of undercarriage. Even worse noise.
Even snow tires do not like that temperature. Turns made with extreme caution.
Small town where plant is only plows enough for farm truck. Main street pure glare ice. Antilock brakes proved their worth.
Did not crash even though car looks like I did!
