Rock on man thanks! We strive for excellence and do our best to take care of our customers.Keep an eye out, we will have even better specials for our new FT86 Club friends Normally the intake systems are offered with either Airaid premium air filter. The Synthaflow is the oiled where as the Synthamax is Airaids amazing dry synthetic filter. I personally like the Synthamax as it is very easy to clean but some swear by the Synthaflow. This should help those who dont know which route to go. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZlOyJ8wkP4"]AIRAID Oiled & NON-Oiled Filtration Technology Video - YouTube[/ame] |

Hello xclusive_brett,
We will not be offering a polished version. Hello Calidrifter, The MAF sensor will be located inside the airbox. It's a very unique design. Thanks, David |

Saw that, I'm very interested in seeing how we get the MAF sensor in there.

Okay not really. Anyways, you route the factory MAF harness through a hole in the Cold Air Box and use a grommet to seal/secure it where it passes through. I'm sure you guys have never seen a MAF hidden inside an airbox but our flowbench testing showed it to be the optimal location with the way we design our kits. Some guys like to try the MAF in different locations until they find a place where it is happy. Since we start from scratch and can design anything we want we are able to dictate the location and also accommodate things like packaging restraints of the engine bay, filter size, MAF harness length etc. The MAF location allows a very laminar airflow over the sensor (read predictable and stable) because it comes in through a round filter, then straight into a velocity stack where the sensor resides. |
