Been so long since I have played GT5, or played on the PS3 in general. But im pretty sure i did a low 8.11, if not a high 8.10 not so long after that thread died..

BUT we are strictly Hard Racing for podium status.. Doesnt mean i dont wanna hear times with other tires though...

I spent a good hour trying to beat ATLEDREIERs stock GT86 time yesterday with no luck.......

Surely Starscream that time is not with a hand controller??

Great to see u guys r getting into it.... Nurburgring is such a demanding track...... Im constantly phasing out about 4 minutes into the race... So much rides on staying focused... One error and its a red time and u gotta start all over again... Can be very frustrating and separates the men from boys.....


EDIT: Starscream u have traction control on!!!!!!!.... Total LOL.... Assistance is forbidden......

Ah, did'nt take a good look at the rules I guess. I'll change the tires and turn all that garbage helpful stuff off and post again. Honetly I can't tell you how many laps around the Nurburgring nor Tsukuba that I've taken. They are the only tracks I run.

Also, I'm using the older Driving Force Pro.

So, to be more clear.. Is ABS considered "Assist"? I usually run with it at 1.

Because all other stuff being off is fine but without ABS is just silly.

Racing:Hard tires and no traction control added 14 seconds to my lap, i thought it would be more but ABS is at one.

I had my abs on (1). Rest of assistance was off. Full abs off is great for drifting, but rest, it doesn't matter it's on 1 or 10

1st: RaceR - Time 7.08.316, 384bhp, 1092kg, 507PP, all assistance off (abs 1, no wing, race hard tires)
2nd: ICHITAKA05.... Time 7'28.258, 374PS, 1092kg, 508PP, All assistance off
3rd : FT-86GOD....Time 7:34:907..... 369bhp, 1092kg, 502pp...... Used normal controller..... All assist off......
