Does anybody know what is causing the massive backlog for Helix/Valenti lights? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I ordered the Valenti black gold tails from FT86SF on July 10th. It's been over 4 months. Every time I contact FT86 I get the same response that they don't have any updates. Did the place burn down? The Helix sidemarkers I wanted to order have been on backorder even longer. This is kind of ridiculous at this point and I was just wondering if anybody knew anything since the company doesn't seem to exist outside of websites selling their stuff

I spent a good 35 minutes trying to find who produces Valenti ( thinking it may be another company) and I could not find anything. No hints, no clues. Also no official website for them, which is partially why I believe they are a sub brand.

Certainly if ft86speedfactory works with them, they must be asking or pressing on the company pretty hard since they're a vendor and will start losing associated sales. If you've been waiting this long, haven't you thought about confirming stock on another website and then canceling your order with FT86speedfactory?

Unfortunately the black gold are specific to FT86. And I already bought the headlights and 3rd light to go with it. They're offering exchanges but then the whole scheme would be thrown off

Valenti black gold are not specific, it's the actual light smoke model with black chrome inside, P/N is TT86Z-SB-1. The older darker model were the black edition, with darker glass and red bar inside.

Wait really? The bar that wraps should be white. If that's the case I'll order them from somebody else right now. They just said they were so I believed them

Yes, I have the fog light in light smoke and it's the black chrome internal with white bar.
