Now that Rav 4, Highlander, Camry and Corolla has Hybrid options... I see the Prius being chopped off. As well as the Avalon... maybe.
But I think they need 1 coupe in the affordable range and one is obviously the Supra. And potentially even one in between the two... MR2? The sports cars they have are "shared" chassis and parts wise so cost is split in production and design. But the projects that are 100% Toyota need to be high volume sellers to be justified. |

Prius c will probably follow the v and get dropped. They are announcing the AWD Prius in LA later this month. I see it transitioning to plug-in hybrid across the board in the next gen, though.

Already was discontinued. They are just tricking everybody by putting a different front bumper and dash on an 86.

Or was it the 86 that was cancelled and they are just putting 86 bumpers and dashes on the BRZ to fool us?

Not necessarily true. There are just as many possibilities that result in Toyota keeping the 86 around until Toyota completely dies or the heat death of the universe as there are it being cancelled at some point.
(Infinite possibilities) |
