Ya, I hear ya -

I hope your condition improves soon. What is your plan?

My spinal stenosis really kicked up today. The "lightweight" pain pills the surgeon gave me for pre-op pain relief just didn't get it done.

So, I doubled up the dose and added acetaminophen and finally got enough relief in one position that I wasn't screaming in pain. Yep, that's where I stayed most of the day.

I have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow morning to discuss and schedule surgery.

I need to go back to my GP and insist she send me to a rheumatologist, along with my orthopedic surgeon and figure out what is going on. It is my right leg that just had knee surgery about 2 years ago. That and I'm sure I need to watch my diet and exercise more. Less dive bar food and drink, more salads and water.

Hope it goes well for you this morning. Living in pain sucks.

it is not as smoky today. Looks like a perfect day to tackle those rain gutters (I've ran out of excuses). Knees don't fail me now.

I use my backpack leaf blower with a custom extension. ( like pictured) Made the extension out of parts for my shopvac.

I don't like being on ladders... (If I can avoid them, I will)

Good Luck!

Good Luck!
I have a 10/12 pitch roof and my house is 3 stories tall in the front (basement opens in front under front porch). So I pay a company $100 to clean mine. Best $100 I spend twice a year.

Well, it may be a perfect day for SOMEONE to clean the gutters.

NOT a 55 year old man with a bum knee!

Ladders and bum knees just don't mix well -

Pay attention to your elder!

Veteran Day was yesterday, but all (worldwide) who serving/served military, thank you.

As for veteran observation day today, I’m stuck at work conference that I wish I can get out of.

Good Luck!

Speaking of which, I really need to do this too before it starts raining (put it off last year and ended up having a gutter separate from the roof, that was not fun to fix in the cold/rain).

Knee is feeling better, but definitely not up to climbing a ladder quite yet. Might have to go to the hardware store for some pvc pipes...

My N95 masks finally arrived...3 days too late. But the air today is still technically 'unhealthy' so I wore one on the way to work (had to make a pit stop to the store on the way so I would've been out of the car's hvac).

Works pretty well, reminds me of the air around the thing my dad uses to clear allergens at home. Guess that means it's working some magic.

Why did y'all have to go and remind me of gutters. There is one corner I just can't do and its always clogged. Might just pay someone, though I do like Leo's solution lol.

GF is in Vegas for a work conference. a broad I hooked up with on Tinder before I met her is also in Vegas. I saw her Snapchat we don't "talk" or anything anymore. anywho, I was thinking of getting her to locate the GF like when she goes to gamble and mess with her.

thoughts on possible disaster?

Don't worry. The way things are going, it won't be the last time you'll need it.

Went fine. Funny, going down stairs is much harder for me than going up.

Ok, my son did most of it, I supervised.
