Hatchback?
Has anybody speculated on whether this will be a hatchback or not?
If it is not, the letterbox boot opening of the concept II looks hardly large enough to fit a set of golf clubs? |

Might wana search it, been speculated a couple times.
Also dont think many people would be using this car to hold much more than a second passenger. |

I could see it maybe. The mazda6 looks good in hatch trim, though I prefer my sedan for every reason except the lack of a back wiper (grr).
I wouldn't mind one, but its not a dealbreaker by any means. Give it a hatch and it'll go down as one of the greatest DD cars akin to the 300ZX. Give it the coupe styling and it'll go down as one of the best looking 2+2s ever, assuming they don't make it a bench in back (please don't!!!) |

Hatches have 'performance' uses too.
![]() Getting tires through a tiny trunk may be a royal pain in the ass.

Mk3 Supra. This one is a one-off custom widebody. 530 whp on race gas, stock 7MGTE bottom end. Buddy's car.

Old school Toyota. Soooo pretty.
Does that make me officially old? That I think Toyotas looked better in the late 80s early 90s than they do now? |

Damn. I really don't see a lot of nice cars like that. Its all ricers and diesel trucks around these parts. And the automatic Corvettes that are only driven to car shows. ugh. I'd love to have one of those.
