I might have to use carmax. The power from the gen is really scratching my itch but I already test drove a brz and that's the reason I've been bent on getting one. Also the amount of aftermarket we have is amazing. The gen I have drove which might be a poison if I do lol. Tuning is kinda iffy but that still doesn't matter.

I test drove both new in 2013. The Genesis (Rspec) had a whole lot more torque, yes, but it just was meh everywhere else.
For example:
First time I sat in my FRS (yes, I bought the one I test drove lol) it felt engaging and special. And that was before I turned the key. The Genesis felt like every single other boring car I'd ever driven. If you can swing it, try them out back to back.

One of my best friends own the Genesis Coupe. Its a good car and with decent power. I prefer the BRZ as an all around drivers car.

The Genesis feels more...refined. Like theres less road noise, the interior feels cushier, and the ride feels smoother.

But with all that I felt less connection to the road.

The BRZ is more raw, you hear more road noise, the transmission has more feedback and you feel like you are wrangling a beast when you are putting it through its paces.

Both are great cars dont get me wrong, its just what you want out of your driving experience.

Ive driven the genesis 2.0t, I was not impressed from a power stand point. The handling and everything else felt sort of meh.
