I usually get the hash browns. I love Bill's salmon benedict (sub English muffin for bagel), and like how you can get a half benedict. Perfect size.

I definitely think next time I'd order whatever in a half portion or just order a couple "sides".

Today's food was too filling.. Two half buttered toast "sandwiches", huge amount of potatoes, two eggs, and the corn beef hash.

That's just too much for me, not normally a breakfast eater; just not hungry in the mornings.

Giant pot of homemade meat sauce. Ground beef, pork, and Italian sausage with tons of fresh garlic, onion, mushrooms, basil and oregano, and a good bottle of Cab, simmered for about 10 hours. So good. I think I might make about a 5 layer lasagna tonight.

This 9x5 loaf pan has 7 layers of noodles, 5 cheeses, and meat sauce and weights 5 pounds 1.5 ounces (just the contents). Lasagna heaven. Going in the oven now.

Saturday night, souped-up potatoes going in the oven and some steaks going into the sous vide, then finished on the grill, and a spinach salad.

Great to be able to cook again. Later this week, Colonel Ho's fried chicken. Stay tuned.
