Man, you had me all excited. Such a bummer that we don't have it.

The "not for fuel" statement is due to them not having one of the ridiculous spring loaded vapor-stopper nozzles. I've had one of my VP cans from back in my motocross days - 10 years ago.

Which, if you've ever used one of those stupid eco vapor nozzles, you'll notice cause more headaches and spills than a good old tube ever did. Right up until the point that they crack apart and literally drench your lawnmower in a gallon of 87 octane. Ask me how I know lol...

You could always order it in 55gal drums, I guess. But yeah. One of the things I miss most about Houston. Sometimes I could get E85 for under $1/gal.

I live in sugar land, e85 is cheap and readily available for sure Not sure it makes the humidity, mosquitos and traffic worth it, but the corn juice is always available.

Hey Mike, I have a 2017 BRZ pp. I currently run e85 with oft, have unequal length headers and magnaflow exhaust. I run all motul fluids you've suggested. I have 13 track days so far and car has performed well. I have been at mostly high speed tracks, Charlotte Roval, Indy, VIR and Carolina Motorsports Park. I have been using GT Radial Chapiro SX2 tires on Enkei rpf1 rims. The tires are 215. I am on stock alignment. The car has whitline inserts in the rear end, trans, diff. and steering rack bushings. I have six tires and rims that have 13 track days and 8000 miles total. The tires have even wear across the tread. Temps across the tire are even when coming off track. I have camber bolts but my instructors have said they would not put them on with even tire temps. I have noticed no degradation of the sachs dampers. What should be my next move over the winter. I plan on doing 20-30 days a year. I have six more gt radials to use as I thought they would wear out much faster. Oh yeah, I use G-Loc R10 pads and am about half way through the first set. Thank You for your time and wisdom. Derek

Don't fix what's not broken, and don't change things just to change things!

Why do you want to change your car, and/or, how do you want the behavior of the car to change?

And yes, SX2's last FOREVER. They are, by far, the best learning tire on the market.

Hi. I am fresh to this forum (any forum for that matter so lmk if I'm doing something stupid). My car is running on the factory option TRD lowering springs and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on fitment with the SSR GTX01 17x9 with a +38 offset.

Thank you

Thinking about tires for next year.
I've been running re71rs since they came out. My issue is that while they are fast, they get hot and I subsequently start pushing to try not to let my lap times fall off(driver problem). I'm wondering what is as fast (or nearly so) but more consistent over a standard 20-30 min track session.
On my short list:
Re71r & Learn how to drive
Rs4
Nt01
Maxxis vr-1
The specs that matter
E85, coilovers, 17x9 wheels

Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Hoosier R7 is the answer you're looking for.

None of those tires you've listed are as sticky as the 71R. The 71R is a one lap wonder, and not designed for full track sessions. It really isn't a "200TW" tire at all.

R7s are a ridiculous suggestion for someone that isn't competing.

Try RS4s. I know a lot of people that use those for club endurance racing because of their consistency and wear characteristics with great results.

Also Make sure you aren't surpassing 35 psi hot with those RE71Rs (assuming they are 255/40).
