Took me 8hrs or so, but just finished putting moulding in the basement. Not a bad rec, that 8hrs include getting the moulding from Home Depot and driving it home. Thank god for nail gun... without it, I wouldn’t finish it by today nor would of been do it by myself.

If you’re wondering. This is how it looks now.

Still need to caulk around the moulding and few other things, but it’s 90% done!

Looking good!

Some lighting and a few wall hangings and you will be almost done -

However, on the way back, just as we were about to cross the street a car was coming. We stopped. After the car passed, she broke lose and headed across the street, not seeing the second vehicle coming. I yelled, ran after her, grabbed her and we did a combat roll in the street in front of the van.

Thank God, the van driver saw us and slammed on its brakes and came to a stop.

That was a lesson learned for me for sure and hopefully for her.

Late seeing this. Glad you two are safe.

on that combat roll. Still got it, hum.

Lol it’s actually a sofa. Leather sofa plus went through all the dust, so it looks “dirty”

Welp folks, here is my "almost hit a deer" story for the year (so far).

It was a little past dusk when I was heading into town in my FR-S to pick up some take out food for the granddaughters. I was cruising along about 45 mph, in the inside lane of a non-divided 4 lane street.

All of a sudden a very large deer popped up in front of me, reminded me of the pop up targets on an M-16 combat reaction range. Yep, it was a BIG deer for these parts, if I were in Eastern Washington, I'da thought it was an elk.

No time to hit the horn or apply the brakes, just hit it broadside or cut the wheel. Yep, I cut the wheel to the right (the lane was empty), just barely missing the deer but I damn near cut the wheel too far and almost hit the curb on the other lane. Then I whipped the wheel back and damn near overcorrected again.

WOW, thank goodness the FR-S has quick, responsive steering and a great ESC system!

That damn deer was just lucky I wasn't backing up -

THE END

Mrs. Tcoat says she is glad you are ok but that even a baby deer would look huge in our car.

Of course her dad falls off the roof. Of course the wedding is* in a week.

He's got memory loss and spinal fractures so far. MRI today. Hopefully it doesn't get worse.

PSA, if your daughter is getting married, don't do risky things.
