Wait.. that doesn't make sense.

Netflix doesn't have any of those last I checked? Hmm.

Same. I grew up in the Philippines, so most of my childhood I watched a lot of 70's-80's anime and tokusatsu (think ultraman, kamen rider etc, basically japanese "power rangers"). The only reason I watched a lot of those saturday morning shows was because of my younger brothers.

Must be. Don’t think any of them are on US Netflix. Unless he’s using another region?

I just remember them becoming blind, and then one of them suggested they used training mode to "see" the Decepticons when they were being attacked. Can't remember how they got their vision back.

Not sure why that's the episode that came to mind.

I like the GLI better than that 3-series he looked at. Not sure about it's fun factor tho (never drove one before).

Something that's fun for the occasional drive, wouldn't be a daily driver unless necessary, doesn't need to have the lowest miles or the best of everything.

If he wanted to stay in the VW family, could've gone in so many other more interesting directions: VR6, mk1/mk2 gti, corrado, etc

My brother almost bought a clean 94 VW Corrado 2.0L 16V (not this one of course) but it had some definite knocking when we took it out on a test drive. Shame really, they are beautiful cars. Such a striking design in every angle
