Doug's videos are a joke. A really long, unfunny joke with a missing punch line. Or maybe he's the punch line. IDK. Either way, nobody needs to be watching that shit. There are way better comedy reviews and there are way better serious reviews: do yourself a favor and watch them instead.

It's almost like people aren't allowed to enjoy different things from each other.

His videos fit an interesting genre, if you don't like it you don't need to attack him or people's interest in his videos lol. How juvenile.

I feel like you can tell how long somebody has had one of these cars by how upset they get when the internet says "needs more power."

I’ll admit that the BRZ could use more beans but it’s still great.

When Doug can say “Integra feels quick... the Integra is nice in that it allows you to have fun without getting crazy speeds...” but he doesn’t say the same/similar thing about the BRZ which is every bit as quick as the Integra (quicker in fact).
We'll see if Subaru puts out a turbo'ed last generation BRZ, in the coming 2-4 years (grand finale of sorts). If not, then get a '17+ and turbo it ( stronger internals then a '13-16) , if you want 240-275 hp. The foundation of the car is either there, or its not. I'd rather drive a car with potential (like the FRS/ BRZ) of working for that speed straight or around corners , but if you add HP/torque it'll handle it. Versus getting a car that's 400+ HP, depending upon the car it'll be fine on the straights , but on the twisties it's a whole different situation.

It's all relative to what you're used to. Drive a fast car and the 86 will feel slow. Drive a slower car and the 86 will feel fast.

I think some additional torque and somehow eliminating the dip would be enough to change people's perception of this car being slow.

Spoken like a true SJW.
Sometimes you just need to say when something is shit.

Super true. After owning it four plus years I just say, "you're absolutely right, but I knew that going in."

BTW does the graphic on the dash reflect actual torque? meaning does the graph change after a tune that changes the torque and HP profile?
