Eating hummus is sort of like eating soybeans.

Back-on-the-farm, while combining soybeans, if we got hungry, we would just shell out a pocketful of the greener soybeans and eat them.

After that, I swore I'd never eat smashed up beans (or chickpeas) again -

However, we made up for it when we got back to the house and had a real breakfast - eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast with real butter and 100% real sugar jam - all washed down with 3.5% butterfat unpasteurized milk -

I usually do too, but this is a new store brand that my wife got to try. No garlic or any flavor. Real bland.
