Staggered will induce more understeer. Most people want to preserve the balance and get a square setup (same width front to back).

In my opinion 255 is waaaaaay too much tire for the rear of this car, unless you only do it for looks and don't care about handling.

I looked at these on ebay. 18x8 +35 & 18x9 +40. I have staggered wheels in similar spec. I went with 225/40 & 245/35. Now have 215/40 & 245/35.

Id stick with a smaller stagger, like 225/ 245

I just ordered 2 more wheels so that ill have 9" on all four corners. Staggered is NOT ideal. It looks cool though.

Also, offset calculation does not involve "guess work". I really like https://www.willtheyfit.com
It is a good "calculator." And by reading the wheel gallery. I know what the limits are between the fender and spring perch. Punch in the OEM wheel and tire specs, add the new wheel specs and compare.

Ok my bad on wording, on guess work, on almost all the wheels I looked at they mostly only offer 35 ,40, 42,45 offsets, and it seemed when I done my math, in the wheel width I wanted, I couldn't find the correct offset, with MRR they use blanks, plug in your car, suspension, wheels, then ccm the offset for your desired look, correct, this isn't guess work, thanks for the input.

Cool! What kind of look are you going for? I had 18x8 +45 and 18x9 +42. First I added a 10mm front and a 5mm rear. Then I moved the 10mm to the rear and put 25mm on the front. I now have 12mm rear and 25mm front.

This makes the offsets 18x8 +20 & 18x9 +30. My only suspension mods are 1" Eibach prokit springs and Spc EZCam camber bolts. I have -1.4 front and -2 rear.

Do you want wider tires or do you want taller tires for theat rake look?
245/40 in the rear for the rake.
255/35 for a little bit of both.

Element wheels is the supplier for MRR, I didn't want or really wont use spacers, my own personal reason, but these guys, in theory will give me the flush look stagger fit. In a couple weeks i,ll post them, I really wanted feed back on MRR, I read a lot of post in tire and wheel, and some made comments about cheap wheels, are MRR wheels, cheap, wheels,
And I just had to post one of there banners, there web site has some frx, brz, there, in photos,
