You can shift the center of balance lower quite a bit by removing your head and placing it on the floor. That doesn't make it a worthwhile mod...

Honda makes very efficient pumps. Pumps usually raise the center of gravity. They do nice things for the curves too. So...

Oh god.

Every time I post a large heavy item on Craigslist-LITERALLY EVERY TIME-I tell them to bring AT LEAST TWO ADULTS AND A TRUCK. I always write this part in caps, and in no uncertain terms, at least twice. Sometimes I write that I'm recovering from a surgery and can't lift. Then it always happens. Without fail. Some woman will show up with her eight-year-old child and a Honda Civic or a Subaru Legacy Outback. I end up breaking my back and giving them all my bungee cords for a free or ten dollar piece of furniture that I just wanted to be rid of without moving again. UGHHHHHHHH!!!!

There should be a penalty for failing reading comprehension. Send them home with nothing and sell to someone who can comprehend what they have read.

To paraphrase: Although I cannot quantitatively support my hypothesis, I suggest that there remains a net gain in vehicle performance.

Yeah, I kind of got that... but I guess I was trying to read too much into the "curves go a lot faster" part. Since curves don't move, the car does, I thought maybe there was some incredibly creative play on inner/hidden meaning(s) that I wasn't catching.. especially when someone of obviously higher intellect such as yourself chimed in later in the thread to say that you didn't get it at first. Erego, I felt that I, too, was similarly baffled. Am I correct in assuming that the assertion is that the car with said transplanted Honda engine, regardless of possible center-of-gravity concerns, will be cabable of propelling itself through thoroughfares of intentionally induced turning radii, (radia? radiuses?) at measurable velocities above those vehicles eqiupped with stock Subayota engines, and that is the sum total of the original quote's, "the curves go a lot faster," intended inferences?
