Sometimes high quality and designed for a specific platform are two different things I've found.

Especially when it comes to valving and spring rates.

How many of these companies will even give a option or even recommendations on what you want or need.

How many ask you what is your intended use, daily, track, autocross, road conditions, tarmac or gravel?

If you are not asking these questions, or if the manufacturer isn't giving you these options you cannot get something fit for purpose.

Luckily there are manufacturers that cover these requirements and have done the testing and research to get you where you need to be.

Modifications should never be considered "generic".

Fujitsubo is another quality, oem-like, company. They make amazing products from what I've read. I'm all about HKS as I enjoy the sound of their R-Spec exhaust set up. So for now my car's theme is HKS & STI.

Thanks for posting this as I feel like people are sleeping on Fuji. I mean after all, Fuji is contracted to make exhausts for OE's like Subaru with the STI axleback and others such as various Nissan vehicles.

Granted I'll be the first to admit I am most certainly biased towards Fuji seeing as how I'm running their parts from header all the way back to the midpipe. I'm honest though so while I may be biased I'll give my honest opinion. I think the quality of their parts speak for themselves. The welds are perfection. The construction and workmanship looks every bit OEM but at the same time, there prices are quite astronomical and for me having their header, op, and fp, I should have and should still feel more of a difference then I ever did/have. As a matter of fact, I'd say Fuji exemplifies modest and marginal refinement on an already well built platform.

Anyways, OP was looking for a company that provides quality parts and provides a whole exhaust setup. Fuji is your company OP. They sell their SuperEX header and op together. dual resonated front pipe, and Authorize R catback (midpipe to muffler). They're you go! Enjoi!

I read they were working on a cattless header, catted/resonated frontpipe combo like Apexi and HKS. Whatever happened to that? Because I couldn't find more info, I bought the HKS set up instead.

Showa tuning made the OE strut for FR-S/BRZ before they switched to a new manufacturer. They also made struts for STi. Since they've made an improved design similar to the tS / TRD strut design, I'd consider them as an OE+.

I saw that one too. I believe it's probably still in the works but Mav would know better than I. He's got some connections to Fuji that I just don't have. I wouldn't hold your breath though unless you're Mr. Money bags. The SuperEX header alone will run you 2500-3000. The Authorize R was 1200-1500 if I recall. So their new system will probably be well over 3500.
