We used to laugh at the strip in Georgetown being called Toronto International Dragway.

Roadcourse. I have no idea where the name came from but it's a very nice track.

Afraid to use fossil oils since it may have come from a childhood pet?

Well, I thought about using the rest of the oil in this can that I found under the workshop bench. But, the cap was rusted on, so I thought it might be too old -

New taillights! Tom's Red Lens version 2.

Had to flip red + white wires to get them to work correctly.

I'm a bit torn between these and the new valenti. I need to match my morimoto headlights with the sequential in the tails.

The Valenti were my second choice, but I think I like the turn indicators and sideways Y-shaped lights a bit more on the TOMs.

I originally wanted black lenses, but neither TOMs or BuddyClub seems to offer them. Red is actually pretty good in person anyway

I wouldn't mind a touch of red somewhere else in the car as well now, I think.

That may very well be the last time I wash my car. Why? Because it ain't fun no more. Save your negative comments unless you are over 75 years of age.

So, how will my car get washed? I have two choices:

* teach my 10 and 12 year old granddaughters how to wash it

OR

* take it up to the Brown Bear car wash

Comments?

I am 76 so therefore qualified to comment. As it happens I washed my car yesterday. Not only that, I cleaned the wheels too!

I clean every time the following requirements are satisfied at the same time
a) the weather forecast is for no rain for the next 5 days plus
b) it is dirty

I am trying to find a way that my Google Calendar can send me a reminder when requirement a) is satisfied. Once it can do that I will see if it can detect that the car is dirty.

Good on ya, there old timer -

Yep, that sounds like a reasonable criteria.

Maybe someone will develop an application for that. The weather forecast program linked to a reflectance sensor on the smartphone camera should be able to trigger a notice.

However, for me, it most likely wouldn't work - I would just hit snooze or ignore or delete -
