@spike021 you may have a parasitic drain somewhere in your electrical system. Not saying it's the LEDs, but it might be the LEDs.

Did your positive or negative battery terminals have any built up corrosion on them?

My positive terminal was heavily corroded with light blue crystallized gunk for a long time, but it wasn't affecting the functionality of it. Although one day when I was checking my oil and inspecting my catch can, a strong wind kicked up and blew a TINY spec of it into my eye. That wasn't fun, at all. Rinsed my eye out all afternoon and still got no relief. Eye finally went back to normal after a full 24 hrs.

Cleaned the terminal and applied dielectric grease and the corrosion hasn't been back.

Oh, that's painful. BTDT. You were smart to keep going with the rinse.

Yeah. There was nothing there, but it felt like there was something in there still. This was at work, so I went to the bathroom like 3 or 4 times that afternoon, and just let the faucet run directly into my open eye.

This was a pic of the battery from yesterday:

So I dunno. Could be the LEDs, but I'm not sure.

Under the red cap that's covering the positive terminal is where we need to see.

Looks good. Zero corrosion.

Sounds like the battery just shit the bed. Don't tell them you have aftermarket LEDs installed when you complain about the battery lol. If it happens again with the new battery though, then you know it's something about the LEDs or something else draining the battery.

Edit: I'm not trying to imply that it's the LEDs, and I could be completely off base, but it's the only thing I can think of.

I'll have to agree. There is something about a 4-door Porsche that is not "right" for me -

My son's brother in law brought one golfing once so I took it for a spin. It drives just like a modern Cadillac if the Cadillac had about 20% less horsepower and poor gearing.

I used to think of it that way too... I prefer coupe like 911 or Cayman, but Panamera design grown on me. Specially current design.

Base model? Turbo? Hybrid? I've driven one (base) and it wasn't bad. It's just luxury sedan for cruising.
