What does it matter where he or his family originally came from?
EVERYBODY in North America originated someplace else. Even the "Native" Americans are not native they just came here sooner.

If you want a Cantonese answer to your friend's question then Guff is "Ah Cha" and Tcoat is "Gwai Lo".

Anybody have a good recommendation for a portable battery/jumpstarter? Bonus points if it can double as a phone charger.

Yesterday my phone was nearly dead, like 8% battery left, by the time I finally was able to jumpstart the car. Would not have been fun if my phone died at the same time..
