Wait wut?
Sounds more like he fell doing simple things... Or something. I'd be feeling down if I fell too.

Not that, but my scarred up hands are giving me trouble this week. They don't want to work. That isn't helping.

Easy. Just take it in say you have no idea what happened and insist it be covered by warranty.

There was a wildfire in Lassen County that came within 30 yards of homes in the little town of Spalding on eagle lake. I have a quarter acre with a single wide on it there. My neighbor, who is a full timer up there, sent pictures. The beautiful forest around town is gone. It is super ugly. It will take decades for the forest to come back. Major bummer. I got a letter saying I need to clean up my property, so I'm heading up this week. Looks like I'll be spending the holiday weekend raking, weed wacking, and cleaning up ash.

Shit.

As much as it sucks to see right now fire is a natural part of a forest's life cycle. It cleans up all the crap and provides the nutrients needed for the forest to come back even better than it was. It will come back faster than you will believe.

I hope so. I just was hoping to get caught up with stuff here at home next weekend, and now I have to go up to the cabin. It's a 350 mile drive each way.
It is a miracle our little volunteer fire department saved the town.

OH that shouldn't matter. If something breaks it is oviously the company's problem.
135k is nothing. I am almost there with the FRS.

Good job getting it out. I can say in my wrenching i have done similar things more times than I care to remember.

Just last week I was taking the access panel off the front of the lotus to check the brake/clutch fluid and with my crappy hands dropped the allen wrench thru the grill over the radiator. It was dangling there ready to fall behind the radiator. I'm thinking, great, now I'll have to pay a grand to have the front clam r&r to get the wrench out. After a half hour of fiddling i too got lucky.

I have dropped more nuts, bolts, springs, washers, pieces of tape, pen lids, tools, and other weird and wonderful things down carbs than any one person should ever have experienced.
