The Details:
The car has been built and used as an autocross car since it was purchased new by Bill Cook (@scoobysouth). I purchased it from Bill in March of 2017 and ran all of last year in the midwest. I did a bit of maintenance work, and a few setup changes, but the car is largely as delivered from Bill. It's been a rock solid performer. The season culminated in a 13th of 58 at 2017 Solo Nationals, after being 9th on day 1.
The car cleans up pretty nice, but it won't ever be entered into any concourse events. The front fascia has a crack from a cone hit at nationals last year, the underside of the front fenders are a bit dinged up as well from cone hits, the rear fascia has a few spider web cracks in the paint from a minor incident Bill had at an event before I purchased it. I still also have the decals on the car from last season for now.
There is a fair bit of driveline whine, particularly under low load highway driving. The exhaust is, uh, loud especially on cold starts, but it's not in any danger of failing sound. The car shakes quite a bit as you'd expect from all the stiff powertrain mounts, a lot gets transferred into the steering wheel with the rack mounts as well. But the car is extremely responsive and feels great on course. I've more or less daily driven it the last 2 summers and drove it to Lincoln and back twice. All told I've put about 17k miles on it from my point of purchase, Just for racing purposes/preventitive maintanence I replaced the diff fluid and transmission fluid with AMSOil products last season. I've also used AMSOil for the engine in 5k mile intervals. The brakes are using Motul 5.1 fluid.
I'd be happy as hell to continue racing this car in this class for many years to come (even had some thoughts of taking it to SP with the DSP proposal), but I'm largely stepping away from Autocross to spend more time with family and other family activities with the boys as they grow older and get more involved in their own sports.

Much of the early development of this car is catalogued in Bill's FT86Club thread here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=Scooby+South

I didn't keep any online record like this, but would be more than happy to answer any questions people may have.

I may well have bought this if it was posted a few weeks ago. I just got a stock car to swap my STX parts on to though.

However, I'd likely purchase the trailer hitch if the buyer is not interested in it or the seller wouldn't mind selling it separately. PM me if that is or becomes available by itself please.

Ok I'll let you know. I'm going to give it a few weeks to try to sell all together, I'm not in a large rush right now to sell, and part of the reason for the sale is because I don't have time for racing so I'm trying to avoid going through the time that would be required to do a full or partial part out.

As such the price is pretty negotiable. If someone is real interested email me, we can talk details and price.

Also Steve, a few months back the DSP proposal was to move the twins there in a DSP "lite" prep, which would mean no outer surface fender modification.
