Wrong. PV=nRT. Meaning a higher intake temperature will increase the volume of the air, making it less dense prior to being compressed. The intercooler helps to increase it's density AFTER it's been compressed. The compressor's efficiency is still impacted by intake temperatures and pressures.

So the 2nd part, pressures. Ram air can work on a Turbo. Any increase in pressure before the compressor will reduce the operating pressure ratio that the compressor operates at. This reduces compressor speed, increases efficiency, and decreases delta temperatures for the same PSI.

Basically all buttoned up. I'm out of town for the weekend so testing on the dyno begins on tuesday it looks like

John from Visconti tuning will be doing the ecutek setup. All tuning for this kit will be bought via him for the ecutek items.

We've done all that stuff in the past. It takes a very large opening to cram anything in. We use that on our Drag Supra and its affects are minimal and that car is 2200hp.

Looking great Don!!

I have this feeling your going to give us a little tease of how much boost you were running under the hood this afternoon before you share the numbers on tuesdays dyno.

Strange you saw minimal gains. I saw in the neighborhood of 2psi more boost worth of power from my testing. Of course, this was datalogging off the dyno using a virtual dyno from MAF voltage increases. The gains I saw increased nearly linear as vehicle speed increased. I collected awesome data from several tests I was able to do, including elevation tests. Good stuff.
