Yes, really, but I wasn't castrated as such. The cancer surgeons just slowed me down, old age took care of the rest. -

Sounds more like an opportunity to me. The rest of my story above involves a grassroots uprising, toppling of the next level of leadership, and the new leadership asking what was left of the original team what they wanted to do.

There's some sort of moral in there somewhere...

Because they are actually a single unicode symbol which Firefox can read, but cannot load to its text editor.

If it's Internet Exploder, M$ is famous for changing what you type because people let them.
Internet Exploder is NOT a misnomer. It's fact.
Like left and right quotes when you only used a standard quote.
You have to dig way down into settings to make it stop.
Then on the next update, it's back to the same ol crap that you have to change again.

Just say NO M$

Simple. If you want anyone and everyone to be able to quote you no matter what kind of browser they use, make sure your posts only have regular old characters that come straight off of a plain old keyboard.


Stick with the classics. Want three dots? Type three periods.

I don't know exactly how it all works. Try to quote the one I just now quoted. It chokes on some of these special characters:

We can type them but the browser can't put them back into the editor when quoting.
