Ouch!
![]() Doesn't look like it was hooning or drifting, but got hit by a careless driver. Our reputation is safe, for now. |

Temp registration in window + plate on the van next to it indicate this may have been in California.
This may not bode well for my future insurance premiums. |

As pointed out in Random Thoughts Thread, it is very likely that this could be a Premium due to the lack of fog lights, with the Limited spoiler added on.

Um... if someone else hits them the premiums for the other car go up. This car didn't hit anyone at it's own fault.

It's a premium with the optional spoiler. The fender trim, I assume you mean the faux vent, has nothing to do with trim level. The chrome strip you can get is an optional accessory.

Back on topic, very painful to look at that pic. My theories are as follows:A.) He or she backed up with the door open and caught a very sturdy object (
. B.) As previously stated, it was hit by a careless driver (although I'm still trying to figure out how the passenger door was involved...unless it was on a one way street with parking on the left )

The damage on the fender leads me to believe he hit an object about knee high that pushed in the fender, and pushed the door back. A hydrant (see paint transfer) perhaps. 3 whiteout wrecks now.
On a side note, I almost became #6 tonight when a lady ran a red light in front of me. I got a turn signal and started my turn, then recognized she wasn't stopping. I had to break hard too dodge her. |

Looks kinda like the door was over extended and then pulled out so it could be closed.
