OFT CAL confusion?

So I'm on v3 tune wanting to go to v4 tune so I get the ZAIJB00C BIN since that's what I used from when I first got it and that was my CAL ID. So right before I was gonna tune it I went to double check the ECU and it was ZAIJB01C now... I go to my computer, plug in the OFT and the CAL info on there is ZAIJB00C so naturally it won't let me add the B001C Bin into the OFT...

Anyone know what's going on or how to fix this? I'm thinking of unmarrying it but...

OFT will only let you load tunes with same calid as your original tune

in your case that's likely B00C

the oft show B01C when you load v2 tunes as you got and update to B01C via the oft tune.

When you load the B00C V4 tune those tunes will be base on A01G rom

don't worry just load the tunes oft will let you and you will be fine

you could flash any frs/brz/86 rom from any year from any country any calid (that,s not corrupted) to your ecu and it wont brick it. all the ecu's have same micro-controller and appear to be same hardware.

car may not start or run with incorrect rom calid but it wont brick ecu

I know I've done it ;-)
