Did some Oem+ tricks with the dei tape on the air box. Also swapped in a K&N drop in, car feels strong

hmm, I'll give it a go. how much tape did you end up using if you dont mind me asking? Im gonna order a roll

I usually buy the 30 Foot roll and usually get two projects done with it. 15 feet should be more then enough for the air box

Over the weekend:

30,000KM Oil change with Motul 8100 0W20
Fumoto Quick-Drain Valve
Transmission Oil change with Motul Gear 300 75W90
Differential Oil change with Motul Gear 300 75W90
Grimmspeed hood struts

I can confirm that there is no need to replace the transmission gaskets. They are completely flat and do not crush at all. I would have felt fine reusing them... but replaced them because I'm still in my warranty window. Diff gaskets are definitely crush washers, and were replaced.

I was also going to install the OEM Style oil cooler but the included gasket was faulty. It looked fine before going in, but when I started to tighten down the new filter union stem something felt off so I took it off to check and found this...

It basically "fractured". I was not able to tear these pieces further apart by hand so I'm assuming there was some defect in manufacturing. Weird, but I have ordered a new one.

Sunny days make metallic paint look ridiculously good. I love summer.

They are Michelin PS4S 245/40/17 on 17x9 Rays 57CR. Love them so far... insane amount of grip compared to the stock tires, even in the rain. They are just as quiet as stock and I would say a very minimal amount of steering feel was lost. It will be interesting to see how the performance holds up as they wear.

I soundproofed the inside/outside of the front doors and installed an Optima red top and removed my original 2013 dying battery.

Stock wheels + tires are about 41.4 lbs.

My wheels and tires are 18.3 lbs + 23.94 lbs = 42.24 lbs

So less than a pound heavier on each corner.

I have the Eibach Pro-kit for about 1" of drop all around. Very comfortable for daily driving and not so low that you can't deal with speedbumps and driveways. Currently have SPC rear LCAs, SPC camber bolts, and whiteline tophats on order so that I can get my alignment 100% dialed in.
