Especially in the early years 2013-14, the lowest guess I got was $40k USD. Mostly people assumed it was $60-$80k. To the uninitiated I'd just say it's a "poor man's Porsche" to give them a general idea of the point of the car.

If any of them saw the interior, they'd know it's cheap AF.

18' 50th anniversary, I get asked if it's a Tesla about once a day, I guess just pointy front headlights means Tesla to a lot of people, everyone who finds out it's a subaru ask if it's all wheel drive, and theres almost none around me so a lot people haven't seen one yet, so they get pretty cavalier, tapping on my window when I'm in a parking lot and stuff to ask about it

I’ve had people honk at me while driving just to ask me what it was at stop lights. I’m very happy the windows are tinted now...

Part of it depends on location.
My dad has a series.yellow in southwestern Wisconsin and gets mobbed on the daily, whereas I've got a tS in Los Angeles, and no one ever gives it a second glance.

I moved into a little town in the middle of nowhere North Carolina, and literally everyone that came into where I worked asked about my car. Now there is at least 3 or 4 of them in this tiny town of maybe 2500 people.

I've only been asked about how fast it is. Everyone is surprised when I tell them their bicycle is faster. Someone posted that it looks cheap, but I disagree. From every angle but that ass-ugly 17 front it's a not-cheap looking car.

No. Every thing else in the car can be manual but I draw the line at power windows.
In fact I have been so spoiled by my last 3 cars that now I get pissy when in other cars where the buttons are not auto up and down and I have to actually hold them for 5 seconds.
