Did a thing and got married this weekend. My wife, family and friends are incredibly supportive of my car hobby so the car was featured in a little of it.

This was a must. No more lonely driving for Takumi788. lol

Me with my team Spec13 Motorsports

My wife and mother in-law surprised me with this cake!

My best friends and my brother all pitched in for a HNR! BEST GIFT EVER!

Got a somewhat dry session in at Pocono Raceway (east course) with NASA Northeast last weekend. It was my first time at Pocono and definitely not my favorite track but still a lot of fun. First few laps are pretty slow but I get the hang of it pretty quick. Really started pushing the limits around 8:55 and 14:55.

I made a mini air dam for the Verus diffuser this past weekend. I have been wanting to make something like this for a while and finally found some time to make it happen. This should deflect tire chunks, rocks and frogs from jamming themselves in between the splitter and bumper. It should also clean some of the air on top of the splitter.

Found this resin based garden fencing at lowes

Traced the bumper profile and shaped the fencing

I heated the material with a heat gun to shape the bumper protrusions.

Finished product

I entered a local time trial competition at a country club with a 1.1 mile race track and won! There was close to 30 entries including a Viper ACR, Mclaren 720s and a bunch of BMW M3s and I ended up winning in a 200hp Toyota. lol. The event was called the Pineview Challenge Cup and I had a blast. FYI, the jacket was also awarded to me. It is supposed to be like some sort of prestigious golf award.

Also having this issue. I blame this on the new RE71Rs. It appears as though I don't have the spring rates to match this new found grip and the tires are rubbing on my chassis under high load. Even with the coilovers adjusted to max compression. Ordering up some stiffer springs in hopes to remedy this issue. For now it is off to the Glen Friday-Sunday.

Much squat

I ran a 2:14.9 at Watkins on Saturday. Which beats my old personal best from April by about 3.5 seconds. I am pretty pleased with the lap even though after watching the video and going over the data I know there is some time left.

After coming off of Watkins with some smoking insulation next to the header flange, I decided it was time to get a fire extinguisher. Especially considering the amount tracks charge you if you use one of theirs. I should have had this a while ago.

I used the bracketeer mount which bolts to your seat. I bought a metal strap (not shown) that replaces the plastic one the extinguisher came with.

There is a small 3" x 3" piece stuck to the plastic under-tray that is right next to the header to over pipe flange. I hit my front pipe on some curbing which caused a leak in the header to over pipe flange. Most of the thin metal was blown off which exposed the soft insulation and glue underneath. Which is what started to smoke as I came off the track. It wasn't really "on fire" but it was a wake up call.

This is not my car but you can see the small piece of insulation in this picture.
