Do not recommend. Maybe for little guys) I used for one season, and it was awful to get in and out of. Held you good and tight though. Best option I could come with was the Bride Gias or Cobra had a fixed back that I thought would work. Both were about 1200$ per seat so I modded the stock seat for like $120.

Edit: oh fuck, you're 6'6". So just ignore everything I just said, you are gonna have to spend big money on that
lol and Thanks! I think I'm going to try a piece of angle and bolt the seat into a fixed position and try that first. It's free lol I'm guessing I'd gain an inch.

I did sit in a Recaro Profil XL and it fit like a glove. But that's $$$. I will probably go that way eventually to lose some weight, just not now.

FYI the stock seats are made of lead or maybe dark matter

Ditto. It was 1987. I was stationed on Guam when the Miata first came to the island. Mazda was selling them for dirt cheap. I remember like it was yesterday, that utter disappointment when I dropped my butt into the seat and realized that I couldn't slip my right leg under the steering wheel.
