The majority of DSM owners actually knowing how to turn a wrench and GOOGLE shit helped too.

I've recently had an epiphany for how to deal with dumb lazy people in my line of work.

If you're too dumb/lazy to google something, you're hard earned money is better off in my pocket.
50-200% surcharge for me fixing something you could do on your own with a simple google search.

The problem with a Google search is you have a 50/50 chance of getting good instructions or total crap. Need to at least cross check 3 sets of instructions to try and sort out what is real.

Many people like to call the Twins the new Civic but so far it looks to be headed to a history more along the DSM line.
I always felt that DSM fed off of the cred associated with the top tier variants. The GSX/TSi AWD/RS models were extremely quick in a F&Fesque drag race if done right, which made the people rocking the GS/ES models feel like they were a part of it. Then the mess of a v6 in the 3G put most of that to rest, at least for new cars. Once the Evo/WRX came about in the early 2000s, most of the 1G/2G folks moved to those as well.

Edit: Yes the Evo is still DSM. I should be going to bed, not posting.

The worst of my problems used to be figuring out what special kind of Google-voodoo had been performed and fixing it as expediently and quietly as possible. Oh the stories my notebook could tell.

Also, I can't thank anyone anymore.

Edit: Wow I'm an idiot. I finally figured out how to get my browser to stop trying to be an https hero. Just delete the s in the address bar, and it saves the setting for 'oh you want this as http... ok'. Now everything is better for me.
