Probably find they can’t reveal it because of bmw not having the Z4 launch yet (or some such obligation).
Personally I like the wheels, and the overall shape. I think it’s going to be a car that might be a nice replacement for my 86... but the biggest thing for me is the price. At the same as a boxster or cayman (or even nearby in price) and I’d just go straight for the porch.
If they price it lower and be clever like the 86 then I think it’ll be a winner.

Word is the interior isn’t in production spec yet. Very keen to see what they do there because that’s one area the 86 isn’t amazing.

Toyota ran the new Supra at a car festival in the UK this week. Although still camouflaged the shape and size/footprint looks good.

Yeah I'd definitely go for the Cayman over this if they're priced the same.

^this thing has been hinted at $50k-$60k. the Cayman S starts at almost $70k.

Seeing the hoodline is as high as the Great Wall of China with automatic being the only transmission option for sure I won't be replacing my BRZ with this new Supra.

I'm more interested to see how this new Supra handles. Not everybody necessarily prefer a MR over a FR layout.

If I want an amazing car interior I would just buy this.

“I can’t disclose specific figures, but the output of this engine is on a par with that which we have with the F-Series from Lexus,” Tada said. The RC-F and GS-F make 389lb ft. He continued: “But you can imagine from seeing it that the car is light and compact – its wheelbase is even shorter than the GT86’s. It’s around 200-300kg lighter than the F-Series [which weighs around 1700-1800kg].”

Rumored weight: 1496kg (3298 pounds) - 40 pound lighter than the MK4 model

So about the same weight as a C7 Corvette with considerably less power?
