Not gonna lie, I kind of wanted a Gurren Laggan style time-skip... The way that show utilized time remains one of my favorite examples of anime time-skip to date.

So... I really liked that ending for Franxx... kinda bittersweet.

Really? I didn’t like the ending, nothing new nor unique. It’s pretty much copy of Gurren Lagan & few other anime I can think of. After seeing start of end arc, I knew it was gonna end that way... but I was hoping it would end differently.

I only watched the first half of Gurren Lagann, up until the time skip. So the ending was fine by me.
