catch can question

i want a pvc catch can but have a few questions.

i will probably never add any forced injection so is a breather catch can, the radium dual thing beneficial? how does this thing work? i have never had oil in the breather line in any other car.

can i use the breather can as the pvc? it looks like it would be easier to drain in the driver side corner.

i am looking at the mishimoto and the radium. any preferences?

Why do you think you need a catch can?

I have radium pcv side in mine. Normal driving I get nothing, but if I'm doing really hard driving I end up with about a teaspoon per hard event (autocross). Headers and a tune only, 40,000 miles on a 2013

i was really trying the "ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". i didnt want to carbon up my valves. my jeep use to have a few ounces every oil change. enough to leave oil on the plugs and leave oil in the intake

From my experience the catch can caught insignificant amounts of oil no matter how I drove. So, I removed it as it is unnecessary bling.

When I purchased it in 2013 people were posting pictures here showing cups full of oil being caught. Mine was more like a thimble full after a few months. Not sure why but perhaps it has to do with piston rings or something. Also, FI made no difference.

Not to be a ****, but it's forced INDUCTION (if that wasn't an autocorrect error).

Carbon on the valves is more an issue with many direct injection designs, but the D4S system is highly effective at preventing this. More likely it's just an oily lining to the intake manifold.
