So, I did get a glimpse of a UPS truck barreling down the street, so, after it passed, I continued to back out … DANG .. ANOTHER delivery truck was right behind it, but it swerved and missed me .. I did not crash.

Damn Amazon, all the fucking deliveries on this street all the time … welp, there goes the doorbell again .. another gift for the granddaughters ..

Don't know for sure .. first I had to soak it in oil, then the mobile X-ray unit had to come by to check it .. still waiting to incubate the swipes from the outside, in my portable bio lab .. the sniffing dog just let out a big sneeze and covered its nose .. but didn't bark ..

We took a drive this afternoon. Headed to Enumclaw (Indian name for "place of evil spirits), which creeps me out, then drove along the Green River for quite a ways.

Drove through Flaming Geyser state park (the flaming geyser is about like a Bic lighter on a warm day). Noted all the "snowflakes" from Seattle playing in the river. Yep, we loose about one each warm weekend to the river. They just don't get it, the Green River is a very fast river and the water is very COLD, like 3 hours before, that water was ice or snow up on Mt Rainier.

Although several folks thought about pulling out in front of us .. none did .. today.

So - we did not crash!

Went out to lunch with my fiance via FRS today. Realized I forgot my wallet when I went to pay up and had to hurry home to get it. Took me 9 minutes to get home, but 16 to get back to the restaurant. I was held up by a C7 Corvette on the latter half. Conclusion: Corvettes are slow, and/or FRSes are fast . Had to avoid some branches in the road, but did not crash.

I fucked up the threads on my wheel puller so I drove my frs to the parts store for a new one. On the way home, just North of the tracks was a tall, beet red shirtless guy walking uphill.
I doubled back, jumped out of the car, pulled off my shirt & gave it to him. We had a quick nod and as I took off, out the corner of my eye, I saw him walk away wearing it.

Did not crash.

It's a long story and the axle is still attached to the hub. Heading out for a bigger puller.

~490 miles driving all day today, at least an hour of it spent in a hell of a rain storm, one stop for gas about 2/3 of the way, and a quick run to get some dinner at Chipotle. 9-ish hours of butt in seat.

Did not crash. Got another 430+ miles ahead of me tomorrow to make it home.

Even the man tool wasn't enough.

I stopped short of destroying it, though. Going to Harbor Freight tomorrow to get one of these. Fingers crossed.
