Was at Gerald Subaru in Naperville - saw a Black BRZ limited in the show room... 3K markup above MSRP... was not greeted by any sales person. I sat in it for a little bit and then walked out with a smile on my face...

Yes, gerald subaru in naperville had poor service when I was in there. I wanted to put a deposit down on a BRZ, but never had a call back. When I went back in there were 4 people on the list already. I also went in when they had a demo unit and was completely ignored. After taking pictures, walking around the vehicle, sitting in it, and fussing with the gearbox for 15 minutes I left.

it doesn't surprise me they are charging a bs ma, I am shocked it's not closer to 5k.

Took Deliver of mine Friday Night 07/06/2012 from Oakbrook Toyota. Paid MSRP + $1995.00 for Dealer installed 2-Tone Heated Leather/Alcantara Suede Seats. Got a stellar deal on the Forester I traded in. The dealer gave me $200.00 more in Trade-in value than I actually purchased the car for 3 years ago. If you want a solid Deal with no MSRP Mark-Up B.S.... Ask for Lee Charvat (sales guy) and Gerry Arquines (sales manager).

Not to nitpick, but sounds like you paid a pretty heft markup over MSRP with those "dealer installed 2-tone heater leather/alcantara suede seats." I'd never buy a car where a dealer butchered it by ripping out the stock seats, but I guess if you're happy that's all that matters
