Now that reminds me of a lead farm manager I had on an agricultural research station which was located in Coyote, CA (you know where that is .. ??)

Yep, Frank, who was Mexican, had 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys. During the time he worked for me, all of his kids had either graduated from college or were enrolled in college.

I asked him one day ……. Frank, how can you afford those college expenses …..?? His reply was that he simply raised them to speak good English and be well mannered. Then clean them up, buy them some decent clothes and have them apply for all kinds of minority scholarships.

Worked for Frank, back in the 60s …….

Come on California every single airport in North America has a place you can get a hamburger. But here? Nooooooo. Thai food, Korean food, Vietnamese food, or Napa farms hippy food is it. Although I am sure that the turkey in my sandwich was raised in a "socially conscious and responsible manner" is a good thing I am not really sure what the hell that even means. It was blazoned across the nice plastic container though so it must be good.

Who the F makes pizza with "free range" goat cheese, artichoke and cauliflower? Who? WHO????? Were the artichoke and cauliflower also free range or just the goats? Were the goats even free range or just their cheese? How does one round up free range goats in order to milk them anyway? Are their goatboys riding around the Napa valley bringing in the free range goats?

I did think it was great that their double avocado sandwich was "vegetarian and glutton free" though since it sucks when you are expecting just avocado and find bits of vegetarian mixed in.

Nice rant. Well done.

What airport and terminal were you in that you couldn't get a burger?

What did you end up snacking on instead? Liberal Vegan tears after they saw your Glock tshirt?

Whoever came up with "gluten free" deserves to be stuffed with free range goats cheese!!! I presume you meant gluten not glutton?? Although 'glutton' does work...

San Fran terminal 1 international.

Had the socially conscious raised turkey sandwich with the big sticker reading "WARNING this product contain glutton" on it.

I am wearing my my kick off tee shirt. I learned a long time ago that you do not travel through airport security while whearing a shirt that has a picture of an assault rifle and says "Keep calm and carry a Colt". The "random" secondary checks and bag inspections seem to happen more often for some strange reason that could not possibly be profiling.

Sorry that is a joke I use to address the gluten craze and sort of got in the habit of saying that.

Probably people that suffer from celiac disease? Or do you think people with, say, peanut allergies shouldn't get labeling that lets them know it might kill them either?
