130 is such an awful road; beats the crap out of you and your car. A couple years ago we went up the San Jose side to end of summer at the Junction. My wife and I swore we would never go up that road again.

Ya, it has it's sections that I like, but there are some pretty rough stuff out there, specially those cattle guards for those who are lowered. I debating taking the long way around via del Puerto canyon, but if memory serves me right, that's really not that much better.

Got a flat after going a week ago with how rough it was with the construction. I'm going to pass on it until it's all done. Was fun though!

Del Puerto bent one of my camber plate when I went rallying over a cattle guard coming towards the Junction.

It's not any better.

Is it better to go slow or fast over the cattle guards?

I was thinking about it. From the San Jose side over Hamilton and then up Mines?
