I know...I know... I know. "But it does effect me". I have heard it over 1,000 times about different odours around a factory. Most of the things complained about were below any detectable levels. Things that can affect you can have an odour but not all odours can affect you.
I react to some synthetic perfumes also. I assume its something in the air that also has a smell, some chemical I react to carried on fine particulate matter. It's not always, but someone that just came in from a smoke break can give me issues if I'm in the same elevator. Other times I can tell someone smokes because they smell, but I don't have problems. Could be shit they're breathing out, unrelated to the smell. Walking through a perfume section at a department store can be a problem. Its easiest to describe as an odo[u]r so I do. I probably have a mental reaction to the smell at this point from the handful of times my lungs have gone haywire. I used to rash fixing computers owned by smokers. Whatever.

Back to my cave of self pity, delusion, and despair.

I figured you wouldn't like that.

You can have charcoal bbqs, but no smoking. Makes perfect sense.
