I’m running tomei header with OFT Stage 2+ right now and frankly the performance upgrade has left me underwhelmed. I’m debating pulling trigger on a Jackson Racing C30 or getting the best NA solution out there: this Ace Delicious combo. The cost difference will be around $5k, the whp will be 250 and 190 with the JRSC C30 and the Ace Delicious combo, respectively. What would u pick?

Nothing NA will give you a kick like boosted. If your underwelmed by tomei oft off the shelf tune, then yeah the ace header and a custom tune will be better but nothing like boosted. If your looking for a decient kick over what you have then you need boost |

Has anyone here gone from another header to this setup, did you really feel the difference with Ace header and custom tune?

Okay, another way of asking, for those Ace owners what made u chose this over going FI? besides the money of course. I’m really debating between getting this or JRSC C30 to replace my tomei header OFT Stage2+ setup.
Pros and cons for each: JRSC C30: pros: obviously the instant gratification of power, minimum of 250whp with factory engine components. Cons: cost, about $4k over the Ace Delicious tuning setup, and about $7k going from my current setup to C30. Being a non hands-on car guy it’ll cost me even more down the road for repair and maintenance cuz every little thing I would have to take to the shop. Ace with Delicious tuning: Pros: noticeable power gain especially mid-range drivability according to all the reviews and dyno graphs I’ve seen so far. I can recoup some cost by selling my tomei header and OFT to offset the cost. By stick with NA, I would assume less headaches down the road as far as repair and maintenance. Cons: do I really want to spend $3k more for another header with tuning over the current tomei setup? Does the power difference between Ace and tomei justify the additional cost for a similar non-FI setup hardware wise? |

I guess, most ace buyers bought it as first header, because "no compromise/best".
Replacing another already bought aftermarket .. i wouldn't. Yes, ace will perform better, but you probably already have 70-90% gains of it with tomei and current ecu tune (widely speculating), so those very few extra ponies and torque for full sticker price buying everything anew .. ![]() Only if you have very good deal selling tomei's & OFT to someone else. But they won't go at full price, right? |

I bought it thinking that I'll go E-force eventually and not expecting it to transform the car. But it does makes it feel whole lot better.

I got it because of better support and availability vs Nameless, which is what I had in the first car (Ace didn't exist when I got that). And because I don't see sense in half measures. FI is not even an option because rules...
If I'd been interested in power of have gone Corvette or something else. Gotta learn to drive first. No point in hoarding money, ...
