I can't really do it till next year anyway, but I need to not get time-invested...
You don't really want this one because mid-rear engine is where it's at. Don't compromise your dream.

Well, the frame apparently supports an LS engine sooooo...

In other news, I'm almost done with the inertia calculator. Just trying to wrap my head around what happens if the before/after includes ratio swaps. I should have something for Ultra to drool over later tonight.

So you'd rather have the Goblin? That ones more work and more difficult as I understand it. And everything else is going to be soooo much more expensive.

I so wanted to build a classic dune buggy back in my youth. You could get a well running Beetle for under $100 and I could weld up my own tubular frame but my broke ass could not afford the body kit and chassis components.

My problem is I cant weld. Well, at least I wouldn't trust my welding with my life.

Well I could swing by and give you a hand. I learned how when I was 11. I bet I have done several miles of welds over the decades. My 58 Chev restore alone was almost 100 feet.

That's the beauty of the Exocet, no welding required. Frame comes as one piece, everything is bolt/rivet-on from what I can tell lol.

I've got more local access to folks who can weld if I embark down a path needing it, but I appreciate the offer.

LOL. I have welded shit that should not have been welded. Broke a tie rod? Weld that puppy. Split in a cast iron exhaust manifold? Weld it up (well actually braze it) and good to go. You got a cracked block? We can get another 100,000 miles out of it just let me grab my gear.

Oh it was well established in another thread that bolting on is no good. Poor Ho almost had to crush his car.
