Depended on what state your plate came from. 72% is the average. I think texas plates only block 60% of the airflow where California plates block 90%.

I've been looking to do something similar
I was trying to make the license plate as straight as possible but coming off of a driveway onto the road, the license plate sticking out got caught by the asphalt. So I bent up the bottom. The best part of this happening is that the license plate is razor sharp. If someone tries to steal it, the police will have some nice bloody DNA.

In Cali, if you commit a crime, they collect your DNA and hold it forever.

If I had to do it over again, I'd put double sided tape on the large washer inside the grill so that once i push the wash through with the bolt, and then pull the washer towards the grill, it stays put and does fall in. I had it fall in and it was a pita to get it out. You also want to make sure that you get the stainless steel hardware so that it doesn't rust.

Thanks to @GT LXXXVI for the great deal!

What can you tow with this hook? Do you have pics of how you would use it?

It's meant to tow *your* car out of the hedge it's taking a nap in.

Wouldn't the tow company just hook on to your axle or some other hard structure and pull? It doesn't look like the two hook could withstand too much force at an angle.

The tow hook is there for towing. (the one by the jack in your trunk) Do not hook to an axle. Why would you want to anyway?

tow hooks are meant for racecars that are too low to get a normal ramp or anything under where there is no obvious towing point, kind of just for show on street cars

You are absolutely right. To make sure that the car is used properly, it needs to be raced. Since I like you, I will go ahead and race the car for you once a month, just to keep that tow hook active. Please ship the car to 1313 mocking bird lane, South Central Los Angeles, CA 66666, on the 1st Saturday of every month, fully fueled and have a tow company pick it up on Sunday. This will exercise the tow hook to make sure it stays healthy.

I almost forgot, I only race as "Batman" so please change all the badges that say Toyota and replace them with the proper sized 1960's Batman symbol. A new batman symbol will not work, I don't want to have to tell someone in a growly voice "I'm batman". The 1960's batman symbols speak for themselves, he never had to say "I'm Batman".

Hit 50,000 Miles. Got the car a year and a half ago at 38,xxx , crazy how fast time flies and how much fun I've had. Had the opportunity to participate in 4 rallies with this car.

Hopefully more miles and smiles to come.
