True but these things grow brands. Look what happened to Honda and Toyota enthusiast vehicles once they became big players.

They discontinue the model and wait 20 years before the next?

This was actually a factory option in Japan and Europe. Why don't you publish some results with the 4.3 fd? A 3rd gear pull would be fine. I asked you at least twice and you just walked away. Maybe you can convince me to change the fd.

Exactly. If they want to grow, they should offer a broader selection of vehicles.

Yes in Germany and a few other countries. I believe in the Netherlands too.

What? I don't recall you asking me anything about my 4.3 final drive.

So the .0001% of the buying public that may want such a thing is appeased? Really? A "broader selection"? People here already buy the PP option and then proceed to rip half of the parts out. Should they build, test, certify for export, and then stock every conceivable combination of part? You think that would grow the business? It would plow it right into the ground is what it would do

In Germany it had a cost of 27k euros. The ordinary model had a cost of 31k euros. It had the 3.727 fd and total weight 1202kg comparing to the 1239kg of the ordinary model. Check attachment.

I believe that you need to have a couple of sport/performance models, especially when the rest of the line-up is becoming now boring. Forester XT is history for example ...

The only logs I've done are data logs for tweaking my tune by Cosworth. I don't care about how quickly I got to redline as they are for my engine tune. Besides the logs you asked about were how my AFR were. Not my FD and acceleration difference.

They have the WRX and STi which already puts there percentage of performance vehicles to appliance ones well above all the other Japanese assemblers. Having a bunch of different versions of the BRZ would not help them grow.

They are the same logs. You can check different things. AFRs, temperatures, CAM timings, knock, acceleration and so on.
