The easiest solution to this, if you really are unsure of your headlight alignment, is to take a photo from inside your car of your low beam cutoff at night on a flat road, and post it here. That should make it easy for us to tell you if they're at least somewhat reasonably adjusted or not.

The newer BRZs dont have any adjustment knobs like the earlier models had? It's all automatic now?

Correct. 2017+ vehicles have a ride-height sensor on the rear lower control arm. However, that's still a "relative" adjustment meant to account for added weight in the trunk and whatnot. Same as with the physical adjustment dial in the earlier years. The headlights still need to be properly, PHYSICALLY adjusted before those other relative adjustments can function properly.

I get flashed nearly every time I take my 86 out at night and most of the times are when I'm getting on it from a start. I notice that the nose comes up a little when I'm accellerating, probably enough to blind people.

BRZ headlight adjustment

Yes I had that problem. Was even pulled over by a sheriff. Use the above link to see how to do it. it takes about 2 minutes with an 8mm socket or wrench. good luck.

I haven’t been flashed at all yet. I had to raise up the passanger light to be even with the drivers light after I got my car back from the body shop. It’s relatively easy to do. I would be curious to see how your beam height compares to mine.

I only get flashed while driving on hilly country roads.
Cresting over a hill with oncoming traffic beneath me often results in a quick flash.

I find the car flicks up and down over bumps due to the stiffer ride which also gives oncoming drivers a face full of LED.

The only thing I have done which has helped is turn off the fog lights outside of the city.

I only ever get flashed in rural areas with no street lights. It usually helps if i DO have my high beams on when they come into view. Then when i turn them off, i usually dont get flashed.

The thing about LED headlights is that they look bright even when they arent pointed at you. But when someone gets annoyed thinking i have my high beams on, and i actually turn them on in response, it seems to shut them up (so to speak) pretty quickly.

I had to adjust mine down too, and am no longer getting flashed and visibility is fine. I think some of these headlights are set too high from the factory.

I was going to post this same observation, it's usually on hills, bumpy roads, going thru dips.

I'll have to find a level place here in SE PA. Not an easy thing.

Bonus: It's been raining everyday for the past week!

In a parking lot on the side of a store is the best place Ive found to aim headlights. That’s where I do it after doing a retrofit.

So I checked them on the side of the building at an old strip mall. The mall was only 50% retail occupied, and I had to kick some of the broken bottle glass aside.

I don't know if the photos help, but I measured with a tape measure. From the wall to the bumper is 8 feet and the upper bright line is 2 feet. It kinda worked out exactly like that.

It looks like the right one is slightly higher.

I checked the adjustment screw and it is 8mm, but it is right up against the plastic wheel well that I can't even get a small ratchet in there. I need to buy an open ended wrench.

The 2017 MY must be a bit different from the BRZ in the video, LED lights, I'm guessing.
