Actually it is the opposite of that (remember that Ultramaroon is a play on ultramarine)! Posts 68 through 72 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...=127040&page=5

Make it too hard to crush though so I will be stuck with it. I guess I will have to weld some parts on to make up for it since god knows bolt ons won't do anything.

I spec'd full front end PPF when I purchased. It makes life far easier removing road debris and bugs.
I had Full hood, mirrors, bumper, and half fenders done. I used opti-seal on the rest of the car, but I'm not satisfied with simply sealing it anymore. Next on the list is a ceramic coat, and window tint. |

I regret not getting a full-vehicle clear bra when I bought the car. Now that I know, the next time around I'm going to take it straight off the lot to a detailer to have it detailed, clear braed, and ceramic coated on the whole car. It's too late now though, I'm just around 9k miles and the front of the car is already trashed from rock chips, as are the side mirrors, front fender, rear quarterpanel, and I have a huge chip out of the rear bumper cover. Roads are nasty and there's lots of lifted trucks kicking rocks on highways in Texas.

I got the car back with fresh clear coat on the hood, trunk deck and spoiler. It looks gorgeous, swirl marks are completely gone and the whole operation only cost $350. I'm afraid to drive it though because the clear coat has to cure for a month before I can ceramic it. On top of that, we're in a horrendous lovebug season here in Florida. For anyone who doesn't know about that, the little devils come twice a year for a week or two, and if you hit a bad swarm you can get hundreds on your car in no time. They're full of acid and must be removed promptly or they'll cut right through your paint if left on for very long.
