I've been doing it for 10 years.

I used to do like Humfrz mentioned; make up my own projects, build stuff in SSIS and reporting services for my own education while I was getting my DBA certs. But now I'm bored with that.

Mostly I read, shit post here, research car stuff, watch the birds out the window.

That and/or 4th gear. Good for interstate passing, good for twisty roads. Especially since the auto has taller gears so I can hit 60 in 2nd before redline, which means I rarely get to have as much 'slow' fun as is advertised for this car since I approach most speed limits before redline.

I'm teaching myself how to scale the MAF according to @steve99's instructions. The procedure requires capturing lots of steady-running, closed-loop data. The problem is -- and I can't imagine it's easy for anyone -- that, in order to get data at the upper end, the engine must be operated at both high RPM and close to WOT for extended runs.

Who the hell can do that? And where? I would need to drive all the way down to the California border to take data speeding like an idiot up Grants Pass.
