This is ridiculous. It's almost entirely on Samsung/Verizon, too, creating an ecosystem where it's not worth it for them to bother rolling out upgrades.

If you weren't Verizon I'd point you toward the Nokia 6... but alas. Nice kit for the price, and vanilla Android.

Yea, I was looking at those. Going to go with the Pixel 2XL and regular Pixel 2 I think. We keep phones a while and Google is committed to providing new updates for at least 3 years, plus they are straight android. Getting them for a couple hundred dollars off each so that's not so bad.
