And that's exactly what I was thinking I would do if I got into a BRZ.. Trunk swap or buy a whole new one, but hassle, plus dollars, and the fact that I liked how the 86 looked more.. Wasn't worth the amount I was saving on BRZ vs 86.

Oh and it would depend on the cost to get the thing painted if it would be worth. Not sure how much paint matching something that small would cost.

My friend just got his wing painted for $200, and his has a bit more surface area than this one does, so it might be even cheaper than that.

Mine was the dealer add on demo car from the showroom for everything extra that they offered in early 14. It did have staggered wheels on it but they were a horrid light off white colour so I would not deal on the car with them on it.

I imagine that looked awful on the orange paint.

I know of a couple of lava cars on Instagram that have gold wheels...no offence to the owners if they're on here, but wow gold wheels do not look good on an orange car, at least in my humble opinion...

They were horrible. They put them on a blue one and they looked really good. I had the picture of mine with them on it from their website but lost it somehow.


Not a fan of black on the orange either though. They just seem to create four big black holes.

HAHA yeah it kinda reminds me of a jack-o-lantern.

There's an orange 2017 86 that works in the same auto mall as me somewhere; I see him roll by every day. Looks like he just got black wheels on it for summer and yeah; you just kinda totally lose them in the wheel-wells.

If done right, black wheels orange body looks really good, but every other single accent needs to be black, oh and a black roof. Not a single touch of chrome and it looks good.

Too bad you're not master race though and went black. Black makes everything look better.

Never was a fan. On any car.
I did have a black 64 Econoline panel van(no windows in the sides of the rear) van once upon a time. It had the artwork from Dark Side of the Moon painted on it though so it pretty much had to be black.

My second Lancer had white wheels. Never again no matter what car they go on! I may as well have invested in CLR stock trying to keep ahead of the brake dust rust.
