Had my monthly one-on-one with my manager today. Since most of my work has already been given away I am filling in for customer service until we catch up. She wanted to know what my time was being focused on, and when I stated that, she wanted to know how many cases I do a day.

Commence BS!

Furnace blower died at about 6 this morning. I jumped out of bed in a post traumatic stupor hearing the heat pump compressor squealing through the safety valve.

Last time, I ignored that shit and it cost me 700 bucks.

I'm at home now cycling the fan on and off because it started working again as soon as I pulled the panel. :/

Life is clearing up a bit.

Starting to think I may keep my FR-S. Throw on some parts this year and go to some drift events....

Our "trailer" is a 4 season model. This means it has a full size gas furnace converted to run on propane. We opened last weekend and I went and got both the 30 pound tanks filled, checked everything over and fired it up. Worked beautifully which was good because it was supposed to go down to about 28 degrees that night. About 2AM I a sitting there watching Platoon and realize that it had been running an awfully long time. Check the register and sure enough it is blowing barely luke warm air. Pull the front cover and the Low flame" light is flashing. Go outside check the valves and tank level but all seems OK. Look up to see that the regulator is now a solid block of frost and ice on the outside. The large flow of propane running through the regulator in the low temperatures had frozen it sold. OK no big deal just pour some hot water on it to thaw it back out. Walk into the trailer and there is my panicked, half asleep wife standing there shaking and white as a ghost.
Apparently working on propane lines attached to the outside of the bedroom wall sounds just like a large animal trying to claw it's way in!

How did you not wake her when coming back in to draw hot water?

Did it manage ok after it had a chance to start cycling? I'm guessing yes, duh.

I was going in to get the water when I saw here standing there. Would have been one of the best horror movie victim moments n cinematic history if it was filmed.

Oh we have summer. Hot, humid, sticky, bug infested summer.
Whatever you get actually. Depending on where you are in PA the only difference between us may be the lake in between.
